Newcastle Disc Golf
The Newcastle Disc Golf Club successfully applied for a sporting grant from Newcastle City Council in 2010 and installed the course in May 2011. Since establishment there have been a number of events at the course, which is free to the general public and available to play any time.
10 Players for tonight’s Glow Round, in what some would describe as perfect Glow conditions- no wind, no moon 🌑 and well yes a few bogeys but the cash went to Bryce and Ben on 39 a -9 under score (all the cash donated to prize pool). Shout out to everyone who came out tonight 🫶🏻🔦🥏

This morning, Sheldon played an amazing round of (-10) to win both the scratch and handicap of the August league day at Jesmond. The afternoon doubles was also a fundraiser for Jeans for Genes and Chilly and Justin channeled the power of double denim to shoot (-14) for the win. Thanks to all who came and supported, the club will be donating over $300 to Jeans for Genes!

Bryce on -12 took the win with a new course record, Garry with a throw-in from about 40m on long hole 1 and Ben with the ace on hole 16 (tee 6 to basket 1). With 6 rounds to go everyone is still in it - if you’re not there you are missing out!! We are on next week 🔦🥏🌖
